Patna, Oct 1 (NationPress) Following the instructions of the Election Commission of India, the final voter lists for Siwan, Samastipur, and Arwal districts were unveiled on Tuesday under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) 2025, taking into account the eligibility date of July 1, 2025.

In Siwan district, the total count of electors is now 24,44,322, which includes 12,97,171 male voters, 11,47,099 female voters, and 52 voters from the third gender category.

The 18-19 age group has seen a significant representation with 34,791 voters, comprising 22,314 males and 12,477 females.

Officials have noted that as part of the continuous update initiative, names can still be incorporated into the electoral rolls through online or offline applications until 10 days prior to the nomination period.

During a meeting convened for this purpose, representatives from recognized political parties received both digital and printed versions of the updated electoral rolls.

In Samastipur, the District Election Officer-cum-District Magistrate presented the final photo electoral rolls for all 10 Assembly constituencies to party representatives.

The voter count in Samastipur has risen from 28,61,275 in the draft rolls to 29,26,575 in the finalized version.

Moreover, the final voter list for Arwal district was released under the SIR 2025, aligning with the eligibility date of July 1, 2025.

As per the latest figures, Arwal now has 5,23,444 voters, comprised of 2,76,427 male voters, 2,47,012 female voters, and 5 voters identifying as third gender.

Previously, the draft publication showed 5,11,568 voters in Arwal, with 2,70,170 males, 2,41,464 females, and 3 others.

Throughout the revision process, 14,121 new entries were added while 2,245 names were removed due to reasons such as absence, death, or duplication.

Additionally, 8,195 corrections were made to the voter rolls.

Officials confirmed the final rolls are now accessible in both printed and digital formats for political parties, Electoral Registration Officers, and designated public offices for verification.
