Chennai, Nov 2 (NationPress) Free coaching classes for individuals preparing for the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) Group 1, 2, 2A, and 4 examinations are set to start in Chennai this Sunday.
This initiative is launched in advance of the anticipated announcement regarding the 2026 TNPSC recruitment schedule, aiming to offer quality guidance and support to candidates from marginalised and economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
Organised by the Ambedkar Education and Employment Training Centre with backing from the All India Insurance Employees Association and the Tamil Nadu Prohibition Eradication Front, this programme has successfully assisted over 1,300 candidates in securing positions within both state and central government services over the past 14 years.
The classes are accessible to aspirants from the Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and economically weaker sections across all communities, according to the organisers.
Sessions will take place every Saturday and Sunday, from 9.30 a.m. to 4.45 p.m., at the training centre in Chennai. These weekend classes are tailored to help candidates systematically cover the TNPSC syllabus and deepen their understanding of the exam structure.
The coaching will include lectures by experienced trainers, engaging group discussions, and model tests that replicate actual exam conditions.
The organisers noted that these methodologies have consistently boosted candidates’ confidence and analytical skills, equipping them to excel in competitive exams.
“Our focus is not merely on completing the syllabus but ensuring conceptual clarity and practical understanding,” the organisers shared in a joint statement.
They emphasized that this initiative has been especially advantageous for first-generation graduates and those who cannot afford private coaching.
Interested candidates can register directly at the centre by submitting a passport-size photograph and valid address proof. Admission will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis, as per the organisers.
The training centre, named after Dr B.R. Ambedkar, has played a vital role in enhancing education and employment opportunities for underprivileged communities.
With the forthcoming TNPSC recruitment cycle expected to draw thousands of applicants across Tamil Nadu, the organisers expressed hope that this free coaching initiative will create a level playing field for deserving candidates.
