Governor Devvrat stressed the importance of amplifying outreach initiatives related to the National Mission on Natural Farming, an endeavor inspired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
"Natural farming methods will guarantee that future generations enjoy pure and nutritious food while also aiding in the preservation of our water, soil, and environment," he stated.
Additionally, he engaged in preliminary discussions regarding rural welfare programs and associated development initiatives.
This meeting comes just days ahead of the Gujarat Assembly's Budget Session, set to commence on February 16.
The session will kick off with the Governor's address, followed by Finance Minister Kanu Desai presenting the state Budget for 2026–27 on February 17.
During this session, the House is anticipated to discuss the Budget, grant requests, and other legislative matters. The opposition also aims to challenge the government on several ongoing issues within the state.
