This initiative aims to raise awareness about chemical-free agriculture among farmers and the general public.
Nine stalls featuring a variety of natural farming produce were arranged within the Assembly grounds.
The exhibition's purpose was to motivate farmers to embrace natural farming techniques and to display the quality and diversity of produce grown without synthetic additives.
Present at the inauguration were Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Speaker Shankar Chaudhary, Deputy Speaker Purnesh Modi, Agriculture Minister Jitu Vaghani, and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Rushikesh Patel.
State BJP President and MLA Jagdish Vishwakarma was also in attendance.
After the formal opening, the Governor and other dignitaries toured the stalls, inspecting the displayed produce.

The stalls included Kamdhenu Natural and Prakritik Krishi Farm, Adesar Area Farm Produce Producer Company Ltd., Ramiba and Ramaba Natural Farming Farm, Neer Natural Farm, and Pratenma Natural Farm.
Additionally, agricultural organizations from Anand and Navsari, along with Sardarkrushinagar Dantiwada Agricultural University and Junagadh Agricultural University, exhibited their projects and products related to natural farming.
Officials noted that the exhibition was crafted to offer a platform for farmers practicing natural agriculture to showcase their produce directly within the legislative complex, drawing attention to the ongoing efforts in this sector.
Governor Acharya Devvrat has a longstanding commitment to natural farming and rural agricultural development, frequently traveling throughout Gujarat and beyond to advocate for sustainable practices.
He has consistently highlighted the importance of moving away from chemical-heavy agriculture toward methods that safeguard soil integrity, water resources, and public health.
In October 2024, during a dialogue with farmers in the Tharad area of Banaskantha, he referred to himself as “a farmer first, and then a governor,” emphasizing his personal connection to agriculture and the land.
He underscored the environmental and economic advantages of natural farming, particularly its potential to enhance soil fertility and lower costs for cultivators.
His engagements have included a natural farming promotion camp in Ahmedabad in October 2023, where he encouraged farmers to abandon chemical fertilizers and pesticides in favor of practices that enhance water conservation and improve produce quality.
He has also visited farming communities in various regions to exchange insights and learn directly from practitioners of sustainable agriculture.
