Los Angeles, March 19 (NationPress) Hollywood icon Gwyneth Paltrow, who has made her return to the big screen for the filming of 'Marty Supreme', a new sports drama, asserts that the #MeToo movement has significantly transformed the Hollywood landscape.
In an interview with Vanity Fair, Gwyneth shared: "There are no more meetings arranged in hotel rooms, to my knowledge, or if they do occur, it’s with several individuals present. That bubble has certainly burst."
"I’m certain that power abuse persists in Hollywood, as it does in other sectors, yet there has been a noticeable shift."
Paltrow has filmed some intimate scenes alongside actor Timothee Chalamet for their upcoming movie. However, the Oscar-winning actress chose not to employ an intimacy coordinator, fearing it might hinder her performance, as reported by femalefirst.co.uk.
She commented: "We decided, ‘I think we’re fine. You can step back a little.’ I’m not sure how it is for newcomers, but ... if someone says, ‘Okay, and then he’s going to place his hand here’ I would feel, as an artist, quite constrained by that."
Paltrow previously revealed that she accomplished most of her acting goals before reaching 30, according to femalefirst.co.uk.
In recent years, the actress has shifted her focus to her lifestyle brand, stating that she "doesn’t have a strong passion for acting."
The star, who is the offspring of filmmaker Bruce Paltrow and actress Blythe Danner, told SiriusXM: "I believe that when you hit the mark at 26 years old, and you’re a metrics-driven individual - who, honestly, doesn’t enjoy acting that much, as it turns out ...”
“I kind of felt like, well, now, who am I expected to be? What am I aiming for?"
Earlier this month, Paltrow celebrated her ex-partner Chris Martin's birthday with photos of him with their daughter Apple and son Moses. The 52-year-old actress shared a heartfelt birthday post on Instagram featuring images of Martin enjoying time with their two children, according to 'People' magazine.
