Since its inception on November 1, 1966, Haryana has embarked on a journey of rapid growth and prosperity, achieving significant milestones across various sectors.
This progress is attributed to the hard work, determination, and entrepreneurial spirit of Haryana's populace, he remarked.
Reflecting on the state's development over the past 59 years, he noted that Haryana has transformed from poverty to prosperity.
Despite accounting for just 1.34% of India's total area and 2.09% of its population, Haryana contributes an impressive 3.6% to the nation's GDP.

Haryana's exports have surged from Rs 4.5 crore in 1966 to over Rs 2.75 lakh crore today.
Moreover, Haryana ranks among the top states for per capita GST collection.
Over 250 Fortune 500 companies have established their offices in the state.
Haryana also made history as the first state in India to procure 24 crops at the minimum support price (MSP).
Additionally, it offers the highest sugarcane price in the country at Rs 415 per quintal and provides a social security pension of Rs 3,200 monthly, the highest in India.
Each district in Haryana is connected via national highways.
By granting 50% representation to women in Panchayati Raj institutions, Haryana sets a precedent for the nation.
The Governor lauded the initiatives led by CM Saini aimed at the welfare of women, children, seniors, Scheduled Castes, and Other Backward Classes.
He expressed confidence that the people of Haryana recognize that genuine and sustainable development is achieved when every welfare initiative reaches the most marginalized in society.
