HDFC AMC Reports 19% Drop in Q4 Profit, Announces Rs 54 Dividend

Mumbai, April 16 (NationPress) HDFC Asset Management Company disclosed a sequential decline of 19% in its consolidated profits for the March quarter (Q4 FY26), totaling Rs 622.66 crore. In comparison, the firm recorded Rs 769.42 crore in net profit during the December quarter (Q3 FY26), as per the latest stock exchange report.
When analyzing year-over-year performance, the profit witnessed a 2.5% drop from Rs 638.46 crore reported in the same quarter of the preceding financial year (Q4 FY25).
On a positive note, the company’s consolidated operational revenue increased by nearly 17% year-on-year, reaching Rs 1,051.51 crore in the March quarter, compared to Rs 901.36 crore in Q4 FY25.
However, on a quarter-on-quarter basis, revenue fell by 2.2% from Rs 1,075.10 crore, according to the regulatory filings.
In terms of standalone performance, the profit after tax for Q4 FY26 was Rs 623.29 crore, reflecting a 2.4% annual decline and a 19% sequential decrease.
Standalone revenue from operations saw a modest year-on-year rise of 1.6%, amounting to Rs 1,050.48 crore, but experienced a 2.2% decline compared to the previous quarter.
Despite this quarterly downturn, HDFC AMC reported a robust overall performance for the full financial year 2025-26.
The consolidated profit surged by 16.2%, reaching Rs 2,858.06 crore, up from Rs 2,460.19 crore in FY25, while operational revenue climbed 17.8% to Rs 4,122.16 crore.
The company's operating profit before working capital adjustments also saw significant improvement, increasing to Rs 3,369.80 crore from Rs 2,824.42 crore in the previous fiscal year.
Alongside these results, the firm announced a final dividend of Rs 54 per equity share with a face value of Rs 5 for FY26, pending approval from shareholders at the forthcoming annual general meeting.
