Sanaa, July 16 (NationPress) The Houthi movement from Yemen has taken responsibility for executing three drone strikes aimed at Israel, which included one directed at the Eilat port and two others targeting a military site in the Negev region.
According to Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Sarea, the group will persist with missile and drone assaults on Israel until the violence against Gaza ceases and the blockade is removed.
On the same day, the Israeli military announced that it successfully intercepted a drone sent by the Houthis towards the Red Sea city of Eilat.
The Israeli military stated, “The IAF (Israel Air Force) intercepted a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) launched from Yemen.”
No injuries or damages were reported following this attack. Meanwhile, there has been no confirmed report from Israel regarding Houthi strikes in the Negev, as per Xinhua news agency.
