Hyderabad, Dec 24 (NationPress) In a significant operation, the Hyderabad Police conducted raids on the residences of infamous history-sheeter Zafar Pahelwan and his sons, prompted by the recent murder of a businessman. The authorities registered cases against them under the Arms Act after discovering a cache of knives.
The raids took place early Wednesday morning as part of a crackdown on rowdyism and criminal activities.
Among those targeted were Zaffar Pahelwan, a notorious figure with a record of 40 criminal cases; Sayeed Pahelwan, a former rowdy with five cases; and Sulemaan Pahelwan, implicated in one case.
A contingent of 60 police officers was involved in the operation, which resulted in the seizure of numerous illegal knives and documents believed to be linked to unlawful properties.
