New Delhi, Jan 13 (NationPress) - India and France have reinforced the robustness of their strategic alliance during the 38th India–France Strategic Dialogue, co-chaired by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and the Diplomatic Advisor to the President of France, Emmanuel Bonne, on Tuesday.
As per the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), the dialogue encompassed a thorough review of their bilateral cooperation, covering aspects such as security, defence, technology, space, and civil nuclear energy. Both nations reiterated their resolve to enhance collaboration through joint innovation and development, aligning with India’s Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat initiatives.

The dialogue also reviewed the preparations for the upcoming visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to India, anticipated to further bolster bilateral relations and expand strategic engagement.
During his visit, Bonne also met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar. Bonne’s visit and discussions with India's top leadership underscore the high-level political engagement and mutual commitment to advancing the India–France strategic partnership.
Meanwhile, geopolitical analysts perceive the India–France Strategic Dialogue as a vital foundation supporting a free, open, and rules-based Indo-Pacific. They believe that this dialogue will enhance cooperation in defence, counter-terrorism, space, nuclear energy, and emerging technologies.
