In a separate conversation with Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi from the United Arab Emirates, Goyal welcomed the ceasefire and highlighted the essential role of consistent trade in fortifying bilateral relations.
He expressed India’s strong backing for the UAE, denouncing recent attacks and extending gratitude to the Emirati leadership for their support to the Indian community during the crisis.
Goyal commended the UAE’s proactive logistics strategies, including the implementation of multimodal transport and alternative routes, while reiterating India’s efforts to assist exporters and ensure reliable supply chains for essential goods.
Furthermore, discussions with Abdulla Bin Adel Fakhro of Bahrain highlighted the necessity of reinstating stability and ensuring consistent trade flows, particularly via maritime routes.
He voiced confidence in the region's recovery from recent disruptions and reaffirmed India’s solidarity with Bahrain, condemning assaults on critical infrastructure and advocating for maritime safety.
