Following their discussions, the IDS HQ stated on X, "General Anil Chauhan, Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), led the Indian Delegation for an official meeting with Suren Papkyan, Minister of Defence, Republic of Armenia. The focus of the discussions was on fortifying Defence Cooperation across a spectrum of security issues relevant to both nations."
General Chauhan also delivered a speech at the National Defence Research University (NDRU), addressing faculty and students about the global security landscape, structural changes, and the impact of technology.

General Chauhan also had discussions with Lt Gen Edward Asryan, Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces, focusing on enhancing defence collaboration between the two countries.

The CDS also inaugurated the IT Lab and Distance Learning Centre at the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy of the Armed Forces of Armenia in Yerevan.
The Indian defence delegation, led by General Chauhan, arrived in Armenia on Sunday for a four-day official visit. This visit represents a significant advancement in mutual strategic interests and the long-term defence and security collaboration between the two nations.

On Monday, the Armenian Armed Forces provided a ceremonial reception for General Anil Chauhan.
