Chennai, Jan 11 (NationPress) Highlighting that an individual who stumbles cannot be labeled a failure, but rather only those who fail to rise after a fall should be considered so, actor Jayam Ravi has conveyed his assurance of a comeback this year.
The actor, who has faced challenges lately, spoke candidly about his journey during the pre-release event of his forthcoming film Kadhalikka Neramillai.
He mentioned, “When I was asked to speak, the host described me as someone who has remained constant -- whether in times of triumph or adversity. I maintain this outlook because of what I believe about individuals. There is no triumph without hardship, and no hardship without triumph.
“In 2014, I encountered a difficult phase. I worked on a single film for three years, and I couldn’t even give interviews, as that film didn’t perform well. I questioned if I had made a mistake. Ultimately, I realized that I shouldn’t dwell on it. The very next year, I scored three successes with ‘Thani Oruvan’, ‘Bhoologam’, and ‘Romeo and Juliet’. My ability to achieve these successes stemmed from my understanding that there isn’t a significant distinction between triumph and failure.
“We often declare someone a failure if they stumble. That’s not true failure. True failure is only when one does not rise again. I am determined to rise this year. I have a roster of promising films ahead of me, including a project with another female director, Sudha Kongara. I feel clear-headed and focused. Thank you,” he stated.
‘Kadhalikka Neramillai’, directed by Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi, stars Nithya Menen and Jayam Ravi in lead roles. The film’s music is composed by A R Rahman, with cinematography by Gavemic Ary. Editing is handled by Lawrence Kishore, and choreography is done by Shobi Paulraj, Sandy, and Leelavathi. It is produced by Red Giant Movies.
