Ranchi, Nov 27 (NationPress) As Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren approaches the one-year mark of his second term on November 28, the state administration is set to distribute appointment letters to approximately 10,000 young individuals in a grand ceremony at Ranchi’s Morabadi Ground on Friday.
On Thursday, Chief Secretary Avinash Kumar met with Soren to formally invite him to the event.
In a social media message, Soren emphasized that the government is executing a well-planned strategy aimed at securing the future of the state’s youth.
“On November 28, we will be offering jobs to around 10,000 young people. Our commitment is to foster employment opportunities and broaden the scope for self-employment. Jharkhand is progressively moving towards the vision of a prosperous 2050,” he stated.
Reaffirming his government’s grassroots-first policy, Soren remarked, “Our leadership doesn’t stem from Ranchi but from the villages. The ‘Government at Your Doorstep’ initiative is active. Officials have been directed to guarantee the timely provision of rights, entitlements, and services. This year, we launched ‘Right to Service Week’ to ensure that governance reaches every household.”
Preparations at Morabadi Ground are in full swing, with a large stage set up and seating arranged for nearly 10,000 attendees. The list of invited candidates has been finalized, and recipients have been notified.
The Education Department will account for the majority of appointments, with 8,000 assistant teachers joining primary and middle schools throughout the state. This includes educators for Classes 1 through 5 and subject specialists in language, mathematics, science, and social studies.
Appointment letters will also be distributed to 207 new Deputy Collectors, 35 Deputy Superintendents of Police, 56 State Tax Officers, 2 Jail Superintendents, 10 officers in the Jharkhand Education Service (Category-II), 8 Assistant Registrars, 14 Labour Superintendents, 6 Probation Officers, 3 Inspectors (Production), 1 District Superintendent, and 150 Entomologists.
Friday’s event will also mark the end of Jharkhand’s Silver Jubilee celebrations, which commenced on November 11 to celebrate 25 years since the state’s formation.
