Jodhpur Employment Fair: Minister Shekhawat Calls on Youth to Uphold Duty and Honor Heritage

Jodhpur, Dec 23 (NationPress) Union Culture and Tourism Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Monday presented appointment letters to the youth during the Jodhpur Employment Fair, inspiring them to progress with a strong sense of responsibility.

More than 71,000 selected candidates from all over the nation received their appointment letters for government positions across 45 locations.

Shekhawat, who served as the chief guest at the 14th Employment Fair held at the Border Security Force's Jodhpur Frontier Headquarters, stressed the significance of a strong sense of duty among the younger generation. He also referenced Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 11-point resolutions, especially Mission Karmayogi, and underscored India’s notable advancements on the global front. Shekhawat urged for a balance between development and respect for heritage.

While addressing the youth, Shekhawat reflected on their personal experiences, stating, “We all come from modest backgrounds. Many of you may have pursued coaching or studied away from home, yet your parents undoubtedly made sacrifices to enable your journey. Your mother's support has been crucial to your success.” He highlighted that this accomplishment was not solely individual, but a collective triumph for families and those who aided them along the way. He encouraged the youth to express gratitude towards those who have supported them.

Shekhawat expressed appreciation for the Border Security Force for its involvement in the job fair, noting that the force exemplifies national service by contributing to both the safeguarding of India's borders and the nation's social development. As India’s first line of defense, the BSF plays a pivotal role in events like this, showcasing its dedication to nation-building beyond its primary responsibilities.

The event saw the presence of Inspector General of Frontier Headquarters M. L. Garg, Jodhpur city MLA Atul Bhansali, and various officials, alongside the young candidates and their families. Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who participated in the ceremony via video conferencing, also offered words of encouragement for the youth. The ceremony was well-received by Inspector General M. L. Garg.
