Pangsau Pass, also referred to as Pan Saung Pass, is located at an elevation of 3,727 feet within the Patkai Hills along the India-Myanmar border, and it served as the symbolic endpoint of the rally.
On the final leg of the event, the rally journeyed from Jairampur to Nampong Higher Secondary School, where participants engaged with students and local community members.
Inspirational talks were given, and motivational films that highlighted the values, duties, and dedication of both the Indian Coast Guard and the Assam Rifles were showcased to instill principles of discipline, service, and nation-building among the youth.
The rally was officially concluded at Pangsau Pass by the Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of the Assam Rifles. The culmination ceremony included a lively performance by the Assam Rifles pipe band, the distribution of mementoes, and interactions with local residents, including cross-border engagement with Myanmar nationals, enhancing community ties and fostering goodwill along the international frontier.
According to the spokesperson, the 'Samudra se Parvat Tak' joint bike rally stands as a powerful expression of inter-service cooperation, youth involvement, and border outreach, promoting national unity from the seas to the mountains.
In a separate initiative, the Indian Army launched 'Mission Krishiveer' on Monday to strengthen the link between agriculture and military in East Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. Lt Col Rawat mentioned that the Spearhead Division of the Spear Corps initiated this program at Sigar Military Station in collaboration with the Army Service Corps.
This project aims to create a structured “farm-to-force” supply chain by directly connecting local farmers with Army units stationed in the area. The objective is to guarantee a consistent supply of fresh, high-quality agricultural products to troops, while also boosting income opportunities for farmers in the state.
The event was attended by Mebo Assembly constituency MLA Oken Tayeng, senior Army representatives, civil administration officials, and local farmers.
