Lille, May 14 (NationPress) Canadian striker Jonathan David has declared his intention to depart from LOSC Lille at the conclusion of the current season via an emotional Instagram announcement. The 25-year-old forward will exit as a free agent once his contract concludes.
This announcement comes amid rumors linking him to Serie A clubs such as Juventus and Napoli, alongside interest from FC Barcelona and Newcastle.
“I wanted to share this news directly with you: after so many years at the club, it’s finally time to say farewell. I’ve enjoyed five amazing seasons here; while it hasn’t always been simple, I hope my goals and celebrations have brought you some joy, especially with the French Championship and the League championship trophy. I believe these two trophies have contributed to a lot of happiness for us all,” stated David in the video.
