New Delhi, May 3 (NationPress) Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Tim David expressed his gratitude towards the coaching staff for having established clear strategies for him prior to the IPL 2025 season, where his current performance has significantly contributed to the team's success.
David was signed by RCB for INR 3 crore during the previous mega auction, and to date, this lower-order batsman has amassed 184 runs in 10 matches, boasting an impressive average of 92 and a remarkable strike rate of 197.84.
“Honestly, during my last season at MI, I sometimes overexerted myself. I’ve drawn from those experiences to aid my performance this year, and fortunately, some of my efforts have paid off,” he stated.

“When we take aggressive shots, execution becomes crucial. A significant part of my strategy is ensuring that the top-order batsmen are aware that we have capable middle-order hitters who can deliver in the final stages, allowing them to play freely,” he added.
David also affirmed his willingness to bat in any position within the RCB lineup. “I’m ready to bat anywhere. My teammates understand my role, and I am becoming increasingly at ease with it as I learn to navigate different levels of pressure, whether absorbing it from opponents or applying it back,” he noted.
