Kannada TV Star Discovered Deceased in Hyderabad
Hyderabad, Dec 1 (NationPress) Kannada television star Shobhita Shivanna was discovered deceased at her home in Hyderabad under questionable circumstances on Sunday.
The 29-year-old was found hanging from the ceiling of the apartment she was living in Sriram Nagar Colony, Gachibowli.
Upon receiving alerts from neighbors, police immediately arrived at the scene and found her hanging.
The authorities transferred her body to the government-operated Osmania General Hospital for an autopsy.
Shobhita gained recognition for her performances in the television series ‘Brahmagantu’ and ‘Ninidale’. She also appeared in several films.
Originally from Sakleshpur in Karnataka's Hassan district, the actress got married last year. After her marriage, she had distanced herself from the entertainment sector and was residing in Hyderabad with her spouse Sudheer.
The motives behind Shobhita’s alleged suicide remain unclear. The Gachibowli police have launched an investigation into the factors surrounding her demise.
Authorities are gathering testimonies from her family, friends, and neighbors as part of the inquiry.
Shobhita's remains will be sent to Bengaluru, where her family is located.
