Mumbai, Nov 5 (NationPress) Renowned Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan recently observed the auspicious occasion of Guru Nanak Jayanti, also referred to as Guru Nanak Gurpurab, on November 5.

The star was captured by paparazzi, elegantly dressed in traditional attire and donning stylish sunglasses, as she made her way to the Gurudwara in Pothohar Nagar, Santacruz West, Mumbai, accompanied by her two sons, Taimur and Jehangir.

Earlier that day, Kareena took to social media to share her heartfelt greetings with fans in honor of the festival. Interestingly, her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan, was notably absent, although the couple typically celebrates festivals together with their children.

After paying her respects at the Gurudwara, Kareena shared updates about her upcoming project on social media. A few weeks prior, she had announced the commencement of shooting for her 68th film, Daayra. She expressed her excitement in a post stating, “Day 1 of the 68th film, Daayra, with the amazing @meghnagulzar and @therealprithvi. Send love and blessings.”

Director Meghna Gulzar also shared a glimpse of the film's progress, commenting, “A journey of blurred and crossed lines. We begin.” Co-star Prithviraj Sukumaran shared his enthusiasm for the project, stating, “#Daayra is officially rolling. A new story, a new journey that challenges and excites in equal parts.”

For those unfamiliar, Daayra is anticipated to be an enthralling crime-drama thriller that explores the intricate themes of punishment, justice, and crime.
