Thiruvananthapuram, Nov 3 (NationPress) A 19-year-old girl named Sreekutty, who was forcefully pushed from a moving train, is currently in a life-threatening condition and is fighting for her life at the Thiruvananthapuram Medical College Hospital.
Her devastated grandmother expressed her shock, stating, "We are all praying for her swift recovery," while struggling to contain her tears.
This shocking occurrence took place on Sunday aboard the Kerala Express near Varkala, where a reportedly intoxicated passenger allegedly pushed Sreekutty out of the moving train.
The suspect, identified as Suresh Kumar (48) from Panachamoodu, was subdued by other passengers and subsequently handed over to the Railway Protection Force.
As per the account of Sreekutty's friend Archana, who was accompanying her, the assault occurred around 8:45 p.m. in the general compartment.
