Mumbai, March 4 (NationPress) Actor Lakshay Khurana, who portrays Aditya in Sun Neo's series 'Ishq Jabariya', has been engaged in executing demanding action sequences.
Despite contending with numerous injuries, Lakshay Khurana is determined to persist. Reflecting on his exhilarating journey in 'Ishq Jabariya', he stated, “Since the storyline shifted in Sun Neo's 'Ishq Jabariya', my character has revolved around aggression, shouting, and action. I have a plethora of action scenes to tackle. Just a few days ago, I was suspended on a harness for four hours. I possess some training in mixed martial arts, which aids me in executing these scenes effectively. However, when you continuously engage in action sequences without adequate rest, your body begins to feel the pressure. I’m currently experiencing muscle cramps and stiffness, but my passion for action drives me to give my all. It appears I’m evolving into a bona fide action hero now! As I excel in action sequences, the creators are penning even more of them for me, which is thrilling.”
Lakshay Khurana further remarked, “Naturally, injuries occur. People claim that action heroes don’t halt even when they’re hurt, but I maintain that it's crucial to pause and heed your body’s signals. In television productions, we must film continuously, regardless of the circumstances. The script necessitates it, thus we have to rise to the occasion. Nonetheless, we must prioritize our well-being. Recently, I had to receive a tetanus shot due to an injury. My back was completely twisted, rendering me unable to walk properly. I had to wear a support belt while filming, and even applying balm did little to alleviate the discomfort. The stress level is high, but as performers, we must find a balance between our passion and self-care.”
'Ishq Jabariya' revolves around Gulki, an ambitious young woman with lofty dreams. The series features an impressive cast, including Kamya Panjabi, Dipshikkha Nagppal, Siddhi Sharma, and Lakshay Khurana in pivotal roles, among others.
'Ishq Jabariya' airs on Sun Neo, with new episodes available from Monday to Saturday at 10:00 PM.
