Mumbai, Feb 25 (NationPress) As Mahashivratri approaches, actor Lakshay Khurana, who portrays Aditya in “Ishq Jabariya”, reflected on his fond memories and intentions for this year's festivities. He indicated that this time, he will be unable to fast due to a hectic work schedule.
Lakshay mentioned: "During my childhood in Delhi, the night prior to Shivratri filled me with excitement as we would go to the temple. I would accompany my father to the Shiva temple at night, where we would pour milk and water on the Shivling and conduct puja."
He also expressed his anticipation for indulging in street food like golgappas near the temple.
“These are some of my most treasured and beautiful Shivratri memories,” remarked the actor.
Discussing his plans for this year, he noted: “As I matured, I began fasting throughout the day. However, due to my demanding shooting schedule for Ishq Jabariya, I won’t be able to fast this year. Nevertheless, I will rise early and visit the temple with my wife.”
Lakshay is a devout follower of Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu.
“I have profound faith in Lord Shiva and Lord Vishnu, so I will offer milk and water to the Shivling, seek blessings, and chant ‘Har Har Mahadev.’ Shivratri is an exceptionally significant occasion for me, and I always look forward to it,” he conveyed.
“Ishq Jabariya”, broadcasted on Sun Neo, is a romantic tale revolving around Gulki, portrayed by Siddhi Sharma, a vibrant young woman with grand aspirations.
