Prayagraj, Feb 10 (NationPress) Pilgrims attending the Maha Kumbh in Uttar Pradesh's Prayagraj on Monday expressed their appreciation for the comprehensive arrangements established by the authorities, highlighting the facilities at the ghats and the bolstered security protocols.

So far, crores of devotees have immersed themselves in the Triveni Sangam, the venerated meeting point of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the legendary Saraswati rivers.

This grand religious celebration, which commenced on January 13 and will last until February 26, has attracted millions of devotees from across India and other nations.

In an interview with IANS, pilgrims recounted their experiences and commended the administration led by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for its effective management.

"In comparison to the previous decade, security provisions at the ghats, especially for women, have seen marked improvements. We feel extremely secure, particularly the female devotees. In prior Kumbhs, we encountered numerous difficulties," stated Sneha, a pilgrim, while also acknowledging the special trains operating from various regions to aid in travel.

Shubham Shrivastav, a local devotee from Prayagraj, remarked, "No one could have envisioned such extensive organization taking place here, yet the government has executed an exceptional job. The Digital Kumbh initiative is also a remarkable advancement. As the world progresses towards digitalization, merging religion with the digital realm is an admirable move."

Another devotee, Pragya Suman, mentioned, "Our visit here has been problem-free. The arrangements are superb, the ghats are pristine, and all devotees are exceedingly pleased with the facilities."
