Ajit Pawar has initiated pre-budget discussions with various departments.
Manish Verma, Managing Director of the Maharashtra State Finance Corporation, has been promoted to Additional Chief Secretary of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, with this position now elevated to the rank of Additional Chief Secretary. The government has also appointed Krishnakant Kanwaria as the Assistant Collector of Shahada sub-division in Nandurbar, and Suhas Gade has been selected as the Chief Executive Officer of the Gadchiroli zilla parishad.
In a noteworthy development, Dinesh Waghmare, a senior bureaucrat from the IAS 1994 batch, has assumed the role of State Chief Election Commissioner.
