New Delhi, Jan 30 (NationPress) Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann asserted that Arvind Kejriwal’s governance approach is not about handing out freebies. While campaigning for AAP candidates in Delhi on Thursday, he conducted large public gatherings in Tuglakabad and Greater Kailash, as well as leading roadshows in Kalkaji and Kasturba Nagar.

CM Mann called upon the residents of Delhi to prioritize progress, education, and healthcare instead of conflict, divisiveness, and corruption in the upcoming elections on February 5.

Speaking in Tuglakabad, Mann emphasized a vital decision for voters: “On one hand, there are parties that promote conflict and hatred; on the other, there’s AAP, which advocates for education, health, and employment. One side takes from you; we give back to you. Delhi must determine its future and that of its children.”

Mann praised Kejriwal’s governance model, stating: “For the past decade, Kejriwal-ji has guaranteed that taxpayer funds serve the people through free electricity, clean water, quality schools, hospitals, and complimentary bus services for women. These are not ‘freebies’; they represent rightful governance.”

He criticized the BJP’s rhetoric, arguing: “They ridicule AAP’s guarantees as ‘freebies,’ while they themselves promise Rs 2,500 when Kejriwal proposes Rs 2,100 for women. The public is aware of whom to trust.”

At Kalkaji, Mann underscored AAP’s solid track record of keeping its promises, stating, “We deliver what we commit, whether in Delhi or Punjab. In Punjab, 90 percent of households now enjoy zero electricity bills due to the promised monthly 300 units of free power.”

He encouraged voters to support Delhi Chief Minister Atishi and reaffirmed AAP’s dedication to public welfare.

“Delhi deserves leaders who prioritize your welfare over their profits. Vote for progress and integrity,” he asserted.

In Greater Kailash, Mann reiterated the clear distinction between AAP and other parties, saying, “One side hurls insults and spreads hatred; the other believes in serving the people. Arvind Kejriwal’s vision has revolutionized governance, turning taxpayer funds into meaningful benefits.”

He pointed out AAP’s transparency, recalling how the Punjab government repurchased a private thermal plant to safeguard public assets.

“We don’t sell public institutions for personal advantages; we enhance them,” Mann declared.

The Punjab CM also criticized the BJP’s governance failures, stating, “Fifteen years of the MCD and eleven years of the Central government -- what have they accomplished? Even installing a single sewer cap would be an achievement! Yet, they have no accomplishments to showcase.”

Mann urged voters to be cautious against last-minute bribes: “If someone offers you money, accept it -- it’s your tax money anyway -- but on February 5, select AAP.”
