New Delhi, June 9 (NationPress) Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed on Monday that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India is confidently advancing towards becoming a secure, self-reliant, and developed nation.
In a post on X, HM Shah emphasized the remarkable accomplishments of the Modi government over the last 11 years, asserting that this period has witnessed a significant transformation in India’s internal security and national assurance.
He stated, "11YearsOfSeva has emerged as a pivotal moment in the realm of national security. The grip of Naxalism is loosening, tranquility has been restored in Jammu-Kashmir and the Northeast, and India now retaliates against terrorist attacks by confronting them directly in their lairs. This illustrates the evolving landscape of India under the Modi administration," Shah wrote.
He also claimed that with the onset of Modi 3.0, the country is “swiftly advancing towards development and self-reliance powered by the principles of reform, perform, and transform.” The Home Minister reiterated that the aspiration for India to achieve supremacy across all sectors remains unwavering and will continually foster positive changes in the lives of the citizens.
Earlier on Sunday, while addressing a large assembly of BJP state, district, and mandal-level leaders in Madurai, Tamil Nadu, Shah elaborated, referring to 2024 as a “historic milestone” for the BJP and its devoted members.
“This year is indeed remarkable as Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji has secured a third consecutive term, an extraordinary accomplishment,” he affirmed.
Shah pointed out the BJP's unprecedented majority government in Odisha, labeling it a “historic mandate” in a state where the party had previously lacked substantial support. He also underscored significant triumphs in Haryana and Maharashtra, where the BJP returned to power and achieved its largest victory to date, respectively.
Looking towards the future, Shah indicated a political shift in 2025, where the BJP will displace Arvind Kejriwal’s AAP government to take control in Delhi after a 27-year hiatus. He also anticipated political transformations in Tamil Nadu and West Bengal in 2026, expressing optimism that both states are on course to establish NDA-led governments.
As the Modi government marks its 11 years, Home Minister Shah emphasized a renewed commitment to national security, development, and political growth, reinforcing the BJP’s mission of constructing a ‘New India’ through what he termed the mantra of “Reform, Perform, and Transform.”
