Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh), Nov 19 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, on Wednesday, where he also paid his respects at the Mahasamadhi of the esteemed spiritual figure.
During his address at the centenary event, PM Modi remarked that the life of Sri Sathya Sai Baba exemplified the principle of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam, and his teachings continue to motivate and uplift individuals in their everyday lives.
The Prime Minister characterized his involvement in the centenary festivities as both an emotional and spiritual journey. Numerous devotees and followers of Sathya Sai Baba traveled to the hallowed grounds of Puttaparthi for this significant event.

Swathi added that she had always wished to see PM Modi, and this moment would be cherished for the rest of her life.
“It has been a remarkable opportunity to visit Puttaparthi, receive Swami ji’s blessings, and witness the Prime Minister. The spirit of Swami ji is ever-present, even in his absence. Participating in the 100th-year celebrations feels genuinely divine,” she remarked.
Sarath Chandra, a devotee from Hyderabad, expressed his joy at being part of the celebrations, noting that PM Modi's presence transformed the atmosphere into a festive one.
