Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh), Nov 18 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to attend the centenary festivities honoring Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Sri Sathya Sai district on November 19.
Alongside Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Prime Minister will arrive at the revered shrine and Mahasamadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba around 10 a.m. to pay his respects and offer his obeisance.
Subsequently, they will engage in the centenary celebrations.
The Prime Minister is also expected to unveil a commemorative coin and a series of stamps that celebrate the life, teachings, and lasting impact of Sathya Sai Baba. He will address the audience during the event.
Following this, the Prime Minister will head to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 at approximately 1:30 p.m. Additionally, he will distribute the 21st installment of PM-KISAN, which amounts to over Rs. 18,000 crores, aimed at aiding 9 crore farmers nationwide. He will also speak at this gathering.
Chief Minister Naidu, arriving at Puttaparthi on Tuesday night, is scheduled to greet Prime Minister Modi at the Puttaparthi airport at 9:25 a.m. on Wednesday.
As per the state government's itinerary, both leaders will visit Prasanti Nilayam and offer prayers at the Sathya Sai Baba Mahasamadhi.
Later, they will proceed to Hill View Stadium to participate in the celebrations commemorating Sathya Sai Baba's birth centenary.
After the farewell at Puttaparthi airport, the Chief Minister will travel to Pendlimarri in the Kamalapuram constituency of Kadapa district to partake in the Annadata Sukheebhava second phase fund distribution program.
Under the Annadata Sukheebhava and PM Kisan schemes, each farmer will receive Rs 7000, benefitting a total of 46,85,838 farmers across the state with a distribution of Rs 3,135 crore.
In total, the farmers will receive Rs 6,309.44 crore through both the first and second installments.
Afterward, the Chief Minister will engage with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) cadre and return to Amaravati by Wednesday night.
