New Delhi, Nov 18 (AANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu on Wednesday, where he will unveil a commemorative coin, pay respects at religious sites, and announce the 21st installment of PM-KISAN during a significant farming summit, among other activities.
On the eve of his journey, PM Modi shared on X, “I am eager to meet my sisters and brothers in Andhra Pradesh tomorrow, 19th November, to celebrate the birth centenary of Sri Satya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi.”
He emphasized the contributions of Sri Sathya Sai Baba towards community service and the spiritual upliftment of society.
As per PM Modi’s itinerary for Wednesday, he will visit the revered shrine and Mahasamadhi of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh, to offer his respects at around 10 a.m.
Following this, at approximately 10.30 a.m., the Prime Minister will take part in the Centenary Celebrations of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, according to an official statement.
During this event, he will release a commemorative coin and a series of stamps honoring the life, teachings, and lasting impact of Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba. He will also address those gathered for the event.
Afterward, the Prime Minister will head to Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, to inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 around 1.30 p.m.
At this program, PM Modi will distribute the 21st installment of PM-KISAN, totaling over Rs 18,000 crore to aid 9 crore farmers across India. He will also deliver a speech during this significant occasion.
The South India Natural Farming Summit 2025, taking place from November 19 to 21, is organized by the Tamil Nadu Natural Farming Stakeholders Forum.
This summit aims to advocate for sustainable, eco-friendly, and chemical-free agriculture, pushing for a transition towards natural and regenerative farming as a feasible, climate-smart, and economically sustainable approach for India’s agricultural landscape.
The event is expected to foster market connections for farmer-producer organizations and rural entrepreneurs while showcasing innovations in organic inputs, agro-processing, eco-friendly packaging, and indigenous technologies.
Over 50,000 participants, including farmers, natural farming practitioners, scientists, organic input suppliers, and stakeholders from Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, will attend the program.
