Puttaparthi (Andhra Pradesh), Nov 18 (NationPress) Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his eagerness to join the centenary celebrations of Sri Sathya Sai Baba on Wednesday.

"I eagerly anticipate gathering with my brothers and sisters from Andhra Pradesh tomorrow to celebrate the birth centenary of Sri Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi," the Prime Minister stated in a message on X.

"His remarkable life and his commitment to community service and spiritual enlightenment serve as a beacon for future generations. I have had numerous opportunities to engage with him and gain insights from him over the years. Here are some moments captured during our interactions...," the Prime Minister added, sharing photographs taken with the revered spiritual leader on various occasions.

Accompanied by Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Prime Minister is scheduled to visit the sacred shrine and Mahasamadhi of Sri Sathya Sai Baba at around 10 a.m. to pay his respects.

Additionally, the Prime Minister will unveil a commemorative coin and a series of stamps celebrating the life, teachings, and lasting legacy of Sathya Sai Baba.

During the event, he will also address a public assembly.

Following this, the Prime Minister will head to Coimbatore in Tamil Nadu, where he will inaugurate the South India Natural Farming Summit 2025 at approximately 1:30 p.m.

He is set to disburse the 21st installment of the PM-KISAN initiative, totaling over Rs 18,000 crores to assist nine crore farmers nationwide.

The Prime Minister will also speak at the event.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, who will arrive in Puttaparthi on Tuesday night, is expected to welcome Prime Minister Modi at Puttaparthi airport at 9:25 a.m. on Wednesday.

As per the itinerary released by the state government, both leaders will visit Prasanti Nilayam and offer prayers at the Sathya Sai Baba Mahasamadhi.

Subsequently, they will proceed to Hill View Stadium to take part in the centenary celebrations.

After bidding farewell at Puttaparthi airport, Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu will head to Pendlimarri in the Kamalapuram constituency of Kadapa district to engage in the second phase of the Annadata Sukheebhava funds distribution program.

Under the Annadata Sukheebhava and PM Kisan schemes, each farmer will receive Rs 7,000.

A total of 46,85,838 farmers across the state will benefit from the scheme, resulting in a distribution of Rs 3,135 crore.

In total, farmers will receive Rs 6,309.44 crore across both the first and second installments.

Later, the Chief Minister will meet with members of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and return to Amaravati by Wednesday night.
