He informed the tribal population that the state government offers free medications to patients and urged them to adhere to their treatment regimens.
During the event, the Governor engaged in friendly discussions with students from the newly inaugurated tribal girls' hostel in the gram panchayat.
He motivated them to focus on their studies, pursue their aspirations, and wished them a prosperous future.
On this occasion, the Governor also introduced the 'Swachhta Saathi Wash on Wheels Plus' service, a state government initiative aimed at implementing the Swachh Bharat and Jal Jeevan Mission at the grassroots level.
This service was officially launched by Governor Patel on September 26, 2024.
He was informed that this service involves regular cleaning and necessary repairs of both individual and institutional toilets for a nominal service fee.
Currently, 50 workers responsible for cleaning 55,000 toilets have collectively earned over Rs 55 lakh.
The Governor also participated in a health check-up camp organized under the National Program for the Prevention and Control of Sickle Cell and Non-Communicable Diseases in Bhodiyapani gram panchayat and interacted with the attendees.
