Raisen, Jan 27 (NationPress) The Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Mangubhai Patel, engaged with members of the Scheduled Tribe community in the village of Chilwaha, located in Raisen district, on Monday.
During this meeting, the Governor spoke with beneficiaries of the Prime Minister’s Jan Man Yojana and the Prime Minister's Awas Yojana. He also took the opportunity to assess the newly constructed homes under the scheme.
Expressing his satisfaction with the effective implementation of these initiatives, Governor Mangubhai Patel remarked that these programs are positively impacting the lives of citizens and elevating their standard of living, emphasizing that the Scheduled Tribe community is increasingly integrating into mainstream society.
"I am very pleased to see all of you here. It brings me joy to witness your homes. I extend my gratitude for the cleanliness in this area. I appreciate your support for the efforts of both the state and central governments, who have launched commendable plans that are advantageous to you," he noted.
During the event, the Governor also urged villagers to inspire their children to pursue education.
In attendance were Collector Arvind Dubey, SP Pankaj Pandey, District Panchayat CEO Anju Pawan Bhadoria, and numerous administrative officials, along with a significant number of beneficiaries.
Beneficiary Shyam Bai of the Prime Minister’s Jan Man Yojana and the Housing Scheme expressed: "Our previous homes were constructed of mud, leading to numerous hardships. We used to cover them with leaves and cloth. The rain caused us severe issues. Now that we have a concrete house, we are overjoyed. I also want to express my gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. We are receiving all the benefits from government schemes, and the Modi government has taken special care of us. There is no reason for complaint from our end."
Beneficiary Daula Bai shared: "Previously, we lived in huts. When the Modi government considered our plight, we were provided with homes. We now live with dignity and receive government benefits without any discrimination. I wish to thank the Modi government."
Female beneficiary Narbadi Bai stated: "We now have access to housing, water, and electricity. Previously, we resided in slums, and the lack of a concrete house brought numerous challenges. Since we began receiving the advantages of Modi government schemes, our quality of life has improved significantly. We extend our heartfelt thanks to PM Modi."
