Meanwhile, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde has taken notice of the situation and has instructed police to conduct a thorough investigation.
He coordinated with hospital officials and ensured that the victim would receive the highest quality of medical care, according to his office.
Shinde also communicated with senior Mumbai Police officials, emphasizing the need to prioritize the toddler's safety and the investigation, and to ensure that the offenders face the harshest penalties, his office stated.
