Singh commended the remarkable courage and dedication exhibited by NCC cadets in Civil Defence during Operation Sindoor and their significant involvement in government initiatives, including the Yamuna Cleanup Campaign, blood donation drives, and relief efforts during the Wayanad floods in Kerala.
He also recognized the cadets’ accomplishments in sports such as shooting, hockey, and equestrian events, appreciating the NCC’s emphasis on adventure activities like mountaineering, sailing, and parachuting, which help cultivate youth fitness, discipline, and perseverance.
