“Choosing the right path today is essential to reaching the correct destination,” he asserted.
Drawing from his own career experiences, the CDS motivated cadets to consider a career in the Armed Forces and aspire to create a Samridhh, Sashakt, and Surakshit Bharat by 2047.
Expressing his pride in attending the RD Camp for the fourth consecutive year, he praised the exceptional standards and enthusiasm of the cadets, noting the renewed energy and patriotism they exhibit each year.
He underscored the significance of January, describing it as a month filled with important events such as National Youth Day on January 12, Veteran's Day on January 14, Army Day on January 15, Parakram Diwas on January 23, which honors Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose, and Republic Day on January 26, commemorating the adoption of the Constitution, along with Martyr's Day on January 30.

The CDS appreciated the 'Guard of Honour' displayed by the Army, Navy, and Air Wing cadets, as well as the enchanting band performance by cadets from Sainik School Ghorakhal, Uttarakhand.
Impressed by the enthusiasm and spirit of the young cadets, he congratulated them on their vibrant and diverse cultural presentation and their efforts in raising social awareness through the 'Flag Area'.
He praised cadets involved in the Aero and Naval models briefing and Drone display, highlighting how these activities reflect their discipline and technological skill.
General Chauhan urged the cadets to act decisively now, rather than waiting for tomorrow, and to maintain a positive and optimistic outlook in life.
