Varanasi, May 31 (NationPress) On the occasion of the 300th birth anniversary of Ahilyabai Holkar, Vijaya Kishore Rahatkar, the Chairperson of the National Commission for Women (NCW), commended the significant strides made by women in various fields. She expressed her appreciation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his commitment to enhancing women's development through targeted reforms and welfare initiatives.
"Over the past 11 years, the changes in women's lives have been remarkable. We now have a Prime Minister who prioritizes women's advancement and demonstrates profound concern for their well-being. The event is scheduled to take place at the RUDRAKSH – International Cooperation and Convention Centre on May 31, commemorating the significant occasion of Punyashlok Ahilyadevi Holkar's birth anniversary.
Reflecting on Ahilyabai Holkar's legacy, she stated, "The NCW has been in Varanasi for two days, organizing various events. This year we celebrate Ahilyabai Holkar's 300th birth anniversary, with the NCW hosting activities throughout the year in different regions in various formats."
