Patna, Oct 31 (NationPress) As the Bihar Assembly elections approach, the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) unveiled its collaborative manifesto on Friday in Patna. This 24-point vision document pledges extensive job creation, women's empowerment, and swift industrial progress within the state.
Key figures present at the event included Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, BJP national president J.P. Nadda, Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan, Bihar BJP president Dilip Jaiswal, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary, LJP (Ram Vilas) national president Chirag Paswan, HAM (Secular) patron Jitan Ram Manjhi, and RLM chief Upendra Kushwaha.
The NDA's manifesto details 24 significant commitments for the upcoming five years, emphasizing jobs, education, agriculture, infrastructure, and welfare. This includes the goal of creating one crore government jobs or employment opportunities in five years and establishing mega skill centres in every district.
To bolster industrial expansion, NDA leaders promised to develop factories and industrial parks in all districts, along with the establishment of 100 MSME parks and 50,000 small enterprises, as well as a defence corridor and a semiconductor manufacturing park in Bihar.
For women's empowerment, the manifesto outlines a provision of Rs 2 lakh financial assistance for self-employment, an aim to create one crore 'Lakhpati Didis', the launch of 'Mission Karodpati' to support budding industrialists, an increase in annual financial assistance to farmers from Rs 6,000 to Rs 9,000, guaranteed MSP on all crops, and a Rs one lakh crore investment to enhance agricultural infrastructure.
In the education sector, the NDA has pledged to set up residential schools for SC/ST students in every sub-division, a Rs 2,000 monthly scholarship for SC students in higher education, and Rs 10 lakh support for EBC individuals for self-employment. They also plan to renovate all government schools with an investment of Rs 5,000 crore, ensuring quality education from KG to PG for underprivileged children, along with mid-day meals and breakfast in government schools.
In terms of infrastructure and connectivity, the NDA has committed to building seven new expressways, modernizing 3,600 km of railway tracks, establishing medical colleges in every district, and developing a medicity hub.
The manifesto also includes plans for religious and urban development, such as constructing a Grand Goddess Janki Temple at Punaura Dham in Sitamarhi and developing metro and international airports in Patna, Darbhanga, Purnea, and Bhagalpur.
The NDA leadership expressed confidence that this manifesto resonates with the aspirations of Bihar's youth, farmers, and women, and will help the alliance retain public trust.
