New Delhi, Jan 25 (NationPress) The prominent media entity NDTV announced an astounding 34 percent revenue growth for the third quarter of the fiscal year 2024-2025, marking a significant rise compared to the same quarter last year, alongside a 20 percent increase from the preceding quarter.
This robust financial performance was attributed to a surge in advertising revenue and the triumph of notable events and digital programs, as stated by the company.
In this quarter, NDTV made considerable advancements in broadening its content offerings and international reach with the debut of NDTV World, a global news platform aimed at catering to the diverse diaspora worldwide.
“Q3 was a critical phase for NDTV as we enhanced our international footprint through initiatives such as the NDTV World Summit and the establishment of NDTV World,” remarked Sanjay Pugalia, Executive Director and Editor in Chief at NDTV.
“Although short-term profits were affected by strategic investments, we are optimistic that these initiatives will lead to considerable growth in the future,” added Pugalia.
The company's ongoing investments in developing new intellectual properties, extending its global distribution, and enhancing its digital and television operations have had an influence on profits.
Nonetheless, these expenditures are anticipated to yield significant returns as NDTV works to enhance its global footprint and diversify its revenue sources, according to the firm.
The platform provides high-quality news, comprehensive analysis, and programming tailored for global audiences while offering an Asian and Indian perspective to international markets.
