Neemuch, April 6 (NationPress) The Jan Aushadhi Kendras, established under the Pradhan Mantri Bhartiya Jan Aushadhi Pariyojana (PM-BJP), are providing significant assistance to the residents.
These Jan Aushadhi Kendras have allowed locals to purchase medicines, from everyday needs to essential life-saving drugs, at much lower prices than before. The community is greatly benefiting from this cost-effective treatment model promoted by the Jan Aushadhi Kendras.
The Jan Aushadhi Kendra located in Shastri Nagar of Neemuch attracts hundreds of customers daily, as it stocks a wide variety of medications at prices considerably less than private pharmacies.
Residents have expressed their appreciation towards PM Modi and the federal government for establishing the Jan Aushadhi Kendras in their city.
Gopal Sharma, a local resident, shared his thoughts with IANS regarding the reduced medical costs.
“I have been frequenting the Jan Aushadhi Kendra for quite some time. The medicines here are not only of good quality but also effective. The difference in prices compared to the market is over fifty percent,” he remarked.
Pawan Nagda from Kanakheda village agreed, stating, “Here, we find the lowest prices in the entire market, with discounts ranging from 20 percent to 90 percent.”
The Director of the Jan Aushadhi Kendra, Piyush Trivedi, also communicated with IANS, expressing gratitude to the government led by PM Modi for dismantling the monopoly of private pharmaceutical companies and making generic medications available to the general public.
“Through the Jan Aushadhi Kendra, medicines that typically cost between Rs 100-200 in the market are sold for just Rs 10-20 here. Customers are saving anywhere from 50 to 90 percent on their medications. This initiative has especially benefited the underprivileged, with many availing this program launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he noted.
