Mumbai, Dec 29 (NationPress) Singer-songwriter Neha Bhasin and music producer Sameer Uddin discussed their choice to remain childless.
During a recent episode of the YouTube show Rashami Ke Dil Se Dil Tak, they shared with host Rashami Desai that they never aspired to have their own children. The couple emphasized that they believe a legacy does not need to be biological.
Identifying it as a mindful decision, Neha and Sameer expressed, “We never wanted to have our own kids. There’s no specific reason for it. We both feel that we want to conclude our attachments and illusions with ourselves. A legacy doesn’t have to be biological. This choice is personal for us, and we stand by it peacefully.”
Discussing the balance between their professional and personal lives, Neha remarked, “Honestly, people like Sam and I, and we say this lovingly, perhaps shouldn’t get married. They aren’t the type who crave admiration like Einstein. Their first love is creation, making you their second love.”
She also mentioned never feeling misunderstood in her marriage.
“What I adore about this relationship is that I’ve often felt misunderstood in life, yet in this marriage, I never do. Just as he embraces ten things about me that may not be ideal, I accept aspects of him, like the fact that Sam might work until 4–5 a.m. Even when there’s no work, he’ll still be at it. You literally leave him where you found him, and after 12 hours, he’s still in the same spot,” the singer revealed.
