New Delhi, March 27 (NationPress) BJP Lok Sabha member Nishikant Dubey recently leveled serious accusations about decisions made during the era of former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru. He claimed that the Nehru-Gandhi family functioned as "brokers for America" in the 1960s while presenting documents he labeled as part of a "dark chapter" in Congress history.

In a post on X, Dubey stated in Hindi (translated): "The Dark Chapter of Congress 11. On this day, March 27, 1963, Biju Patnaik, the then Chief Minister of Odisha, visited America. The war with China in 1962 was fought at the behest of America and financed by them."

He further asserted: "The brother of the Dalai Lama had connections with America; in 1959, the Dalai Lama entered India with American assistance. Biju Patnaik was the vital link between Nehru ji and the CIA."

Dubey also alleged that during 1963-64, India had committed its Charbatia airfield to the American military for nuclear testing purposes in Nanda Devi and for U2 aircraft.

He claimed connections to political funding as well, stating: "From 1955 to 1962, during all elections, the CIA provided funding to the Congress party. The then US Ambassador Moynihan even noted in his book that he directly funded Indira Gandhi during the Kerala elections, prompting debates in Parliament and the formation of a committee."

The BJP MP shared documents, including a letter from Jawaharlal Nehru dated April 2, 1963, which states:

"Dear Dr. Khare, I received your letter dated March 31. I regret to inform you that you are mistaken regarding Shri Patnaik's actions. He has maintained close communication with us on various defense issues, and consequently, he is aware of many matters. His statements in the USA were already public and reported in the press."

The letter continues: "It is accurate that no official announcement concerning the Army's extension was made in Parliament. Shri Patnaik was not privy to this information. As the Chief Minister of Odisha, he had already taken an oath of secrecy. Thus, no violation of the Official Secrets Act can be claimed."

Earlier, on Thursday, Dubey reiterated similar allegations on X, writing:

"The Dark Chapter of Congress 10. Surrender Congress. On this date, March 26, 1963, Pakistan handed over nearly 2,700 square miles of our Kashmir territory to China for free."

He further alleged: "Nehru ji was aware of this situation since 1960; the statements made in Parliament in 1961 and 1962 misled the public. Following our defeat in the 1962 China war, we were unable to respond effectively."

"Despite this, you would be astonished to know that the then Minister of India, Sardar Swaran Singh, and the then Minister of Pakistan, Zulfiqar Bhutto, engaged in six rounds of discussions to cede the Rann of Kutch and allocate the waters of the Indus, Ravi, and Sutlej to Pakistan."

"After this agreement, China advanced to the Karakoram region in our Kashmir, gaining control over the rivers and precious minerals of the area," he concluded.
