New Delhi, March 1 (NationPress) On Sunday, Delhi Assembly Speaker Vijender Gupta launched a new computer education center and reading room in Nangloi, highlighting it as a significant milestone toward achieving ‘Viksit Bharat’. During the inauguration of the Savitri Devi Goyal Institute of Computer Education and Reading Room, Gupta remarked, “Every reading room and computer center marks a progressive step towards ‘Viksit Bharat’. In today's digital landscape, computer education is an indispensable necessity rather than a mere luxury. Achieving true literacy today requires embracing digital literacy.”

Reflecting on his own academic journey, Gupta shared that he often sought out serene environments for studying, recalling the focus he found in libraries like the Ratan Tata Library in Timarpur, close to the Delhi School of Economics.

He pointed out that such reading facilities are vital for students aiming for competitive exams like the IAS, IPS, and other civil services, expressing hope that the new reading room will aid many young aspirants in their academic and career pursuits.

Gupta encouraged community members to view the center as a shared resource and to contribute in any way they can, whether that be through donating books, volunteering, or providing financial assistance.

He expressed optimism that this initiative would spur the creation of similar centers in the future, fostering a culture of service, discipline, and learning among youth, ultimately benefiting society as a whole.

This program, organized by Seva Bharati at Raghunath Dharamshala in Nangloi, signifies a vital step towards empowering children and young people, particularly from economically disadvantaged backgrounds, by granting access to digital learning resources and a supportive academic atmosphere.

Gupta emphasized that the center's establishment is not simply the opening of a physical space, but rather an opportunity for talented youth who may lag behind due to limited resources.

He commended the efforts of Seva Bharati and the Goyal family for providing 15 computers and creating a dedicated reading space to support students' educational goals.

On this occasion, Vishal, Prant Pracharak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), emphasized the collective commitment to education, social upliftment, and inclusive digital empowerment. He expressed confidence that the institute would significantly empower students from economically weaker sections who often find it challenging to afford quality educational resources.

Vishal remarked that by offering computer education and study facilities at an accessible price, the center would create new learning pathways and opportunities for deserving students, enabling them to acquire essential digital skills and pursue their academic and professional goals with confidence.
