Seoul, July 13 (NationPress) - In a significant move, South Korean President Lee Jae Myung made key appointments on Sunday, naming vice ministers for education, science, veterans affairs, transport, and small enterprises. Additionally, he appointed seven officials to vice ministerial-level positions, as confirmed by the presidential office.

Choi Eun-ok, who previously served as the chief of the high education policy office at the education ministry, has been appointed as the new vice education minister, according to a report from Yonhap news agency.

Furthermore, Koo Hyuk-chae, who led the planning and coordination office at the Ministry of Science and ICT, has been designated as the first vice minister of science.
