Mumbai, May 15 (NationPress) Producer Nidhi Dutta, daughter of renowned filmmaker JP Dutta, has opened up about her heartfelt and arduous journey of trying to conceive (TTC). She highlighted the often-unspoken battles that numerous women endure with infertility and urged others to maintain hope in their quest for motherhood.
Nidhi shared a picture on Instagram from her pregnancy photoshoot, displaying her radiant baby bump.
In her caption, Nidhi, who has produced films like Paltan, Ghudchadi, and Border 2, detailed her experiences.
She expressed: “This image, in any other nation aside from India, would likely be flagged on Instagram as ‘Sensitive content’ due to its potential to trigger mental health issues for those TTC… similar to many pregnancy announcements that became triggers for me… TTC… a term I was previously unaware of and one I became acutely conscious of…”
She continued to recount that the path leading to this moment has been filled with “tears, fear, pain, and longing…”
“Throughout this journey, I sought to find joy amidst sorrow… faith over fear and strength through pain… a woman trying to conceive can have an incredible partner and a robust support system from family and friends, yet still feel isolated…”
Nidhi acknowledged that many women share their stories only after delivering their babies.
“Especially regarding fertility treatments like IUI/IVF… but the reality is we don’t want to know the specifics of the procedures! We have expert doctors for that… some of the finest in India… what we need is for women to discuss their experiences while they navigate the journey…”
The producer stated she “didn’t want to postpone sharing my journey until my baby arrives…”
“I want every woman reading this to understand that my journey hasn’t concluded yet… but here I am… telling you to keep your hopes alive… watch me and draw strength! DO NOT give up! It’s the only way to achieve your miracle, and no one else can do it for you! (sic).”
Furthermore, she added: “We must discover the strength within ourselves to manifest our miracles… to all the women who have faced loss before meeting their little ones… to those still waiting in infertility clinics… to those preparing for their daily injections… to the ones anticipating that adoption phone call…”
“No matter which stage of TTC you are in… this mom-to-be sees you… was you… and is praying for you with every step I take. Your miracle is not far off. I promise. Just hold on. (sic).
