Hyderabad, Jan 16 (NationPress) The Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president, K.T. Rama Rao, expressed that the commendation from NITI Aayog for the TS-iPASS policy, crafted during his party's governance, stands as a significant honor for all of Telangana.
He highlighted that this policy was initiated by the former Chief Minister, K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR), with a vision to position the State as a center for industrial innovation.
Using the platform ‘X’, the former minister celebrated NITI Aayog’s acknowledgment of the Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self-Certification System (TS-iPASS).
“The assertion by the Central organization that TS-iPASS has been pivotal in transforming Telangana, achieved through persistent efforts, into an industrial standard for the nation in merely a decade, and that it serves as a model for others to follow, showcases KCR's visionary leadership,” stated the BRS leader.
“The attraction of investments totaling ₹2.6 lakh crore in the MSME sector, alongside large industries, and the provision of respectable employment for over 25 lakh young individuals marks a significant milestone in the country’s history,” added Rama Rao.
He asserted that the BRS government deserves credit for thoroughly and permanently removing multiple barriers to establishing industries, streamlining all permissions through a single-window system.
“These esteemed outcomes and national acknowledgment were achievable only due to the government’s formulation of a highly transparent policy, ensuring all permissions were granted within a swift 15 to 30 days, effectively eliminating corruption, and successfully implementing it with unwavering dedication for a decade,” he remarked.
“Even after more than a decade since its inception, the groundbreaking TS-iPASS policy, which instilled profound confidence in investors, attracting a diverse range from global corporations to micro, small, and medium enterprises to Telangana, continues to hold immense prestige,” he emphasized.
He reminisced that earlier initiatives like Rythu Bandhu, Mission Bhagiratha, Mission Kakatiya, and T-Hub, introduced by KCR for the first time in independent India, have received accolades from NITI Aayog.
He expressed that now, with NITI Aayog declaring the Telangana model as the most feasible for industrial advancement, it would be prudent for the disruptive factions, who harbor illusions about erasing KCR's legacy, to reassess their stance.
