Hyderabad, Jan 23 (NationPress) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K.T. Rama Rao responded assertively to Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy who labeled him an IT employee. The former IT Minister reacted to comments made by the Chief Minister during a discussion with a news outlet in Davos, where he was present for the World Economic Forum’s annual gathering.

“For those who believe they can diminish my contributions by merely identifying me as an IT employee, I assert: being a part of the IT industry demands authentic talent, education, skills, and commitment… unlike transporting bags of cash to sway MLAs or paying off superior authorities for a position!” Rama Rao articulated on ‘X’, alluding to the bribery accusations surrounding Revanth Reddy.

KTR, widely recognized as the BRS leader, also emphasized that IT professionals globally earn their living through diligence and innovation. “To my brothers and sisters in the IT and ITES sectors, I honor you. Your relentless dedication and brilliant intellect form the foundation of the contemporary tech landscape. Without you, the gears of progress and innovation would grind to a standstill,” he stated.

“Let’s face it: some unforeseen politicians can’t compare to your academic qualifications or work ethics. We’re all facing the repercussions of their poorly thought-out policies. I am unequivocally proud of my origins, education, professional experience, technology background, and my allies,” KTR added, recalling his previous roles as Minister for IT, industry, municipal administration, and urban development.

Revanth Reddy had previously described KTR as an IT employee when he was invited to comment on KTR’s assertion that he lacks knowledge. “KTR has worked in IT companies. He is an IT employee. He will always possess an employee mentality. I am a politician and a policymaker. I am not required to know everything,” remarked the Chief Minister.

Revanth Reddy further stated that in making policy, he would guide the relevant officials. He also noted that former Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had no experience in computer operations.
