Hyderabad, April 13 (NationPress) Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K. T. Rama Rao on Sunday asserted that the BRS is the sole party that genuinely embodies the heart and identity of Telangana and urged citizens to dismiss both the Congress and BJP during the forthcoming local body elections.
While speaking to BRS party members in Malkajgiri, he encouraged the public to send a strong message to both 'Delhi parties.'
“Regardless of the election or occasion — it's time to hold both parties responsible,” he emphasized.
KTR, a widely recognized figure, launched a fierce critique against Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, claiming that the state has faced significant hardships due to faith in a “deceptive leader.”
He accused Revanth of misleading citizens with baseless promises and alleged that the Congress party's unfounded guarantees have plunged people into distress. “Trusting a fraudster once is an error. However, falling for him repeatedly is our fault,” KTR warned, urging the public to firmly reject the Congress in all upcoming elections, including the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) polls.
The former minister pointed out that despite the declining conditions in Telangana, only Revanth Reddy seems to be celebrating. “His own ministers, MLAs, and party members are discontent — the public needs no further explanation,” he expressed, labeling it as a direct result of Congress' poor governance.
KTR extended an invitation to all party members and supporters to participate in the BRS Silver Jubilee celebrations on April 27. “Reaching 25 years is a remarkable accomplishment for any political organization. We take pride in being the second party in the Telugu states to achieve this milestone,” he highlighted.
Prior to the meeting, a large rally took place in Malkajgiri to welcome KTR. Numerous senior leaders from the Congress and BJP joined the BRS in his presence.
KTR commended Malkajgiri MLA Rajasekhar Reddy for his unwavering commitment to tackling public issues. “From addressing major concerns like waste management to protesting against government negligence, Rajasekhar Reddy has demonstrated that electing a capable leader leads to substantial change,” KTR stated.
