KTR Expresses Willingness to Confront Numerous Legal Challenges

Hyderabad, Jan 9 (NationPress) K. T. Rama Rao, working president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), stated on Thursday that he is prepared to confront up to a thousand legal cases, similar to the one filed against him regarding the Formula-E race.

While speaking to reporters as he departed from his home to attend a session with the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), he refuted the corruption allegations and emphasized that he is not intimidated by any legal actions.

KTR, a name widely recognized for his previous ministerial role, expressed his unwavering confidence in the law, judiciary, and the Constitution.

The BRS leader accused the Congress government of instigating the case against him due to his inquiries into their failure to fulfill campaign promises made to the electorate.

He asserted that he is capable of addressing all queries as he has committed no wrongdoing.

Furthermore, he pledged to persist in scrutinizing the Congress administration regarding its shortcomings.

"As KCR's son, I would sacrifice for Telangana if necessary, but I will not submit to such individuals," he proclaimed.

He insisted that during his tenure as minister, he worked to elevate the brand image of Hyderabad by bringing the Formula-E race to the city.

"While BRS was in authority, I did not allocate a ₹1,137 crore contract to my brother-in-law, nor did I award contracts to my son's firm or acquire luxury vehicles with state funds. Such actions are typical of CM Revanth Reddy and his Cabinet members," he commented.

Earlier, KTR shared on 'X' that the BRS government facilitated the Formula-E race as part of its initiative to position Hyderabad as a center for e-mobility.

He noted that these efforts had fruitful outcomes, with the state attracting ₹12,000 crore in investments during E-mobility Week 2023.

"I worked diligently to bring this prestigious event to India, aiming to establish Hyderabad as a crucial hub for sustainable mobility in the global transition. The Formula-E race was a key component in realizing this ambitious vision. The bold intention was to develop TMV (Telangana Mobility Valley) clusters as the heart of innovation, research, and electric vehicle manufacturing, thereby generating employment and revenue. We began strongly, bringing in significant investments exceeding ₹12,000 crore during E-mobility Week 2023," he stated.

"Individuals with narrow perspectives, motivated by trivial politics, may never grasp these concepts; however, I trust that the people of Telangana, who are witnessing everything, will recognize the truth and the vision. The truth will ultimately prevail, and justice will be served," he concluded.
