Guwahati, Feb 19 (NationPress) The national chief of the BJP, Nitin Nabin, emphasized the rich spiritual legacy, cultural unity, and the essential role of tea garden workers in establishing Assam’s global presence during his trip to the Tinsukia and Dibrugarh regions.

In a post on the social media platform X, Nabin shared insights from his visit to the revered Namghar in Barekuri village, Tinsukia district, calling it a spiritual hub that embodies the profound faith and cultural harmony of the Moran community.

He remarked that Barekuri is a prime example of a unique coexistence between devotion and nature, where inhabitants thrive alongside the local wildlife.

Referencing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s comments during one of his 'Mann Ki Baat' broadcasts, Nabin noted that the village is also the home of the endangered Hoolock Gibbons, known locally as “Holo Bandar”, who have made Barekuri their home alongside the residents.
